Why we love this wine?

Nostos Blend is a popular best-seller ever since it came on the market, and this is no surprise. Crete’s answer to a “modern Chateauneuf-du-Pape” is a very well-made, rich red wine that oozes fruits and sweet spices in the nose, while on the palate it’s beautifully full yet round, with velvety tannins and a long, lingering aftertaste. It’s organic, unfiltered, and definitely destined to accompany strong red meat (game, lamb, goat) recipes.

Tasting

Vivid crimson color, clarity, and nose with character and intensity, which are composed of notes of black fruit jam, spices, leather, and herbs. In the mouth, the sequence of perfumes develops tension and characteristic acidity, volume, and softened tannins.

Clear, very dense ruby color with youthful purple notes. Many dense legs coat the glass. Intense nose, complex character with ripened black fruit in excellent balance with the oak. Some notes of leather with finesse and freshness. Mouth with volume and density of high but ripened tannins in perfect balance with rich alcohol and good acid. Complex flavours follow and reflect the aromas. The long finish accentuates the freshness while maintaining its richness.
